The Slate 1000 is a touch screen based switcher with the added benefit of an integrated inscriber channel generator, still stores, full motion, multi-view monitoring, DVEs and clip store, the main input format being SDI digital. To maximise the Slate’s potential Creative Technology have purchased additional HD input/output boards, to upgrade all CT Slate switchers to HDTV, thus allowing the show to be produced in High Definition. Switcher operators will feel at home with a classic preview/program architecture, with its own DVE box.
The Slate 1000 features a superb professional control panel. The top half of the panel is a set of flexible device controls which can instantly control the built-in stores for clips and graphics. The integrated multi-view monitor and intuitive panel enable a solo operator to create a great looking show. Run it solo, and still gracefully add team members when you want them. The Slate 1000 is popular worldwide within the live production sector as its switchers offer all the functions of a control room, including monitoring, cg, and clip store and Its file-based architecture streamlines workflow.
